Eligibility (Multifamily Housing)

The Housing Authority of Mingo County is responsible for ensuring that every individual and family admitted to the program meets all program eligibility requirements.

The Housing Authority of Mingo County determines your Applicant eligibility based on:

1. Annual gross income
2. Whether you qualify as elderly, a person with a disability, or as a family; and
3. U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status

If you are eligible, the Housing Authority of Mingo County will check your references to make sure you and your family will be good tenants. Housing Authority will only provide admission to any applicant with good tenant history to maintain a peaceful and quiet experience for other residents.
